BE IN HOUSES was born in Portugal's Oeste Region with a simple purpose: to manage short-term rentals the way we'd want our own home managed.
Our story
We started out managing a single house for a family friend who had no time to deal with guests, cleaning and calendars. We quickly realised that most short-term rental management in the region was impersonal — slow replies, no transparency on billing, no one who truly knew the house or the region.
We decided to do things differently: every property we manage has a close-knit team that knows the house, the owner and the guests. We've grown slowly, always with the same level of care as on day one.

What guides us
Care before scale
We'd rather manage a limited number of homes well than grow without control. Every property has a person responsible for it, not an algorithm.
Full transparency
Owners see real bookings, occupancy and billing in their portal — never approximate figures or manual reports.
Local knowledge
We were born in the Oeste Region and know its tides, its boardwalks and its producers like only a local can. It's that same local care we bring to every home we manage, wherever it is in Portugal.
Legal rigour
Short-term rental registration, SIBA reporting and tax obligations handled with rigour, without shortcuts.
